A Construction Claims Adjuster at Team Fishel reports to the Director of Human Resources and is responsible for investigation and resolution of claims made against the company.

Duties:

·         Reviews losses for liability coverage.

·         Sets appropriate reserves for claims

·         Negotiates claims for reasonable settlements

·         Assist legal counsel in litigated claims

·         Attends and Presents claims to management team

·         Prepares claims reports for local areas

·         Tenders claims caused by subcontractors

Skills:

·         Written and Oral Communication skills

·         Proficient computer skills (Office Suite)

·         Negotiation Tactics  

·         Strong base of Insurance knowledge

·         Four Year College Degree (BA or BS) “Preferred”

Bilingual and prior construction experience is a plus
