Team Fishel has been named Overall Winner of the 2016 William H. Feather Safety Award by the National Utility Contractors Association. The prestigious award was presented March 6th at the 2017 NUCA Convention in Las Vegas. The NUCA Safety Awards program recognizes member companies that have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to safety within their organizations.
Team Fishel’s first annual Summer Safety Challenge wrapped up in late September. After all the results were tallied, Texas Division 30 and Kentucky Division 11 emerged as overall winners. Congratulations, Teammates! Throughout the Safety Challenge contest, each Area was awarded points based on key performance indicators including injuries, job damages, vehicle accidents and DOT score.
This past summer, Team Fishel had the privilege of sharing its experience and knowledge of gas pipeline safety at an industry safety summit.
